This is my first AD/photo composition so far. For this one I tried to make the scene where the car looks like it went through an accident, but the Todpod has stayed intact unlike the rest of the vehicle. Please let me know what you guys think or what can use some tweaking.

Eleni – Well, there is no mistaking this message. Wow – It appears that the child has survived the apocalypse! So, it seems like your concept for the campaign is to show this child, or 3 different children, in scenarios where the POD is helping their lives (in this case, to stay alive). A broad concept like that would allow you to show happy scenes as well as this type of scene.
ReplyDeleteWhich makes this concept a strong one, and one that could be used throughout a multi-ad campaign.
So – let’s talk about this scene. The comparison of being inside and outside this POD is stark… and at this point we are led to believe that not only has this child survived (a happy thought)… but also that his parents are likely to be dead (sad thought). I wonder if the narrative would be as successful, or more successful, if we had an indication that they had survived as well? Might they be looking in the window with concern but relief? Or reaching into the car towards him? Does this image allow more window/door space for that to happen?
Just a suggestion would do it. Possible?
Eleni! Your approach makes perfect sense. I love how Dark and dramatic youve made the interior of the car, tho i'm not sure if some parents would approve the dark setting. Other than that,it beats then the egg you had before.
