Below I have my mission statement further explaining my product as well as my logo ideas for Design Change. I came up with the name "TodPod" for my product, but it's nothing official yet. I wanted to get some feedback from you guys on your thoughts about the name.
Mission Statement:
Logo Ideas: the first are some ideas that I drew out, but I realized I started adding arrows into the logo, but I know we wanted to stick to just type, so I then moved it to illustrator and recreated some plus some other new ideas. Don't mind the colors I added, I only put color so the 2 different letters were visible. Let me know which you guys like in your opinion.
Thank you!

Eleni – your mission statement is a good beginning, and I think you have included all the attributes that the audience would want. Now – cut this down to a paragraph! Be clear, no need to “pitch” this product… just explain it. After all – you are talking to the board of directors of Design Change, and they know the product. Your job is to let them know you understand the product enough to market it – and so some of your mission statement needs to speak to the particulars of that. Are you going to show the seat as it is used? Or, is there another approach that you could consider? Is this product about safety first and foremost… or is it about all the improvements that you’ve included… like cup holders, massage features, video/audio blue tooth? Which is the emphasis of the campaign? What is most important (and don’t think safety is necessarily the answer… you can choose to highlight whichever you feel makes the best visual campaign). Think big, different, and inventive with this. Talk directly to the audience with the visuals… consider young, hip parents who respond to young, new ideas.
ReplyDeleteYour logo is an interesting combination of the company and product – and that’s ok because against all odds… I see a icon that uses the D and C in a pod-like shape. Middle row, second from left… it’s perfect. And, really hard to do… but you’ve done it. So – I vote for the black D with the backwards yellow C inside of it. Nice.
Nice work – you just need to pull this all together.
